Hi, we have a dcs 366 gas range. the pilot light for the oven went out and we can't seem to locate the pilot to re-light. the manual doesn't really go into detail for the oven...only the stove top. is this something we can do or should we be calling the gas company? thank you
My DCS model 36-6-1 also won't keep the oven pilot light on. I was told it needs a Thermo couple. They run $20 - $40 on line. I'll let you know how much fun it was to install.
I have the same model range (an old DCS 36-6-1) with the same problem. Did replacing the thermocouple work? If so, where did you find one?I have the same model range (an old DCS 36-6-1) with the same problem. Did replacing the thermocouple work? If so, where did you find one?
You don't give the model number of your DCS range, but it probably doesn't have a pilot light. More likely it uses and electronic igniter. Internet search on "gas oven ignitor". I think this might help you with your problem.
