Hi we have an infocus 4805 and had to store it (very carefully) for 5 months. Now when we come to use it there is a light for about 30 secs if you look down the lens and then nothing. The bulb had hours of use left. Any suggestions please?

After storage for a while one of the fans may be stuck causing the over heat safety circuit to shut down the projector. Use a bright flashlight & look in vented areas for fans & use a popsicle stick, thin plastic straw or suitable while unplugged (do not use anything metal) & give all the fans you see a little push to turn them around some. Also remove the lamp cover & remove the lamp & push the cooling fan inside the lamp compartment to loosen it up. Put the lamp back in & replace the cover & then plug it back in, wait 5 minutes then try starting it up again.
Just one of many things that can be wrong but worth a try. Good Luck,
