Hi we have problems with our intermec PF4i,while loading paper, handle that lock the head of printer scrolled down and it didn't fix the head,so now the printer always show that "ATB HEAD LIFTED" and don't print anything. could you advise how to fix that handle or what we can do in this case brgd,Max
Thanks a lot for your advise! But I'd like to define the problem. So,after learning the manual to PF4i,i saw, this handle called "printhead lift lever",that raise the printhead,so this lever scrolled down,it seems to be that some spring inside the lever has broken. The lever can be easily removed, but we saw nothing inside it and which part can be broken. I'll describe the situation how it has been broken, maybe it'll help:after loading the paper our worker turned the printhead lift lever very slowly so it didn't click as usual, but it failed to become fixed thanks in advance brgd,Max.Thanks a lot for your advise! 3 possible causes for this asa follows:
• Headlift sensor blocked.
- Check the sensor for dust or foreign objects.
• Bad connection.
- Check that the sensor's cable is connected to CPU board.
Inspect cable for damage.
• Faulty sensor.
- Replace
Unfortunately all these faults will require an engineer to visit.
Thanks a lot for your advise!
