Hi, whenever I power off my lowrance 125 it defaults the settings and I constantly have to change them every time I turn it back on, also the speed read out on the top left remains at 0 kts, however I do have accurate water temp and voltage
These units have internal batteries that power a small bubble memory that remarks your settings. I would conclude that this battery is dead. The result being your unit forgets your settings every time you turn it off. Possibly a faulty speed wheel on your unit as to why the system no longer registers speed.
