Hie I have got a Subaru Impreza 1998 model Automatic, when driving it skips from gear 1 to 3, giving a sort of a jerking, i think it's a gearbox problem i love my car & would like it fixed if possible. Kindly assist? my email address is [email protected] or [email protected]

Looks like that the problem will be on the torque converter. If the torque converter is faulty the gear tends to slip. I strongly suggest that you replace the transmission fluid and torque converter to resolve the problem. Once replaced a smooth ride and shifting will be noticeable.
