High-pitched squeal when heater comes on
I know it has something to do with gas flow but I don't have a toggle switch like it says in the manual. I have a round black knob and I'm not sure where it is supposed to be at....it is difficult to see where the on/off line is and where it should actually be during operation. Thanks.

A high pitched whistle is a gasflow problem. usually caused by the techs who installed the heater who didnt ensure proper gas pressure supplying that heater. undersized gas line, or gas meter too small
