Hi,i need to replace a two 12V 7.6ah batteries. but cannot find 7.6ah,would it be ok to fit 7.2ah or even 9.0ah?,without doing any damage. Many thanks for any advice.
You can put any amperage size battery in there that will fit. It's the voltage that is important to match up at 12 volts. Higher amperage is merely giving you more crusing range; kind of like having a larger gas tank on your car. Higher amps will also take longer to fully charge, like filling a bigger tank would take on a car.
