Hilti TE 74 not hammering
Hi there I purchased a used Hilti TE 74 but it does not hammer. Did some research and noticed there is an oil resevoir for 46 weight hydraulic oil. Is the hydraulic oil what drives the hammering? Looking at the schematic it seems so. Does anyone know how much oil to put in. My hammer had no oil in it at all. Thanks G

It takes 70 cc of oil in the gear casing. Too much oil will snap the connecting rod. If it did not have oil in it there might be a leak somewhere
