1. Right click on My Computer and choose Manage. 2. Navigate to Disk Management and check to see if the drive is appearing as a drive. 3. If it is showing as unallocated, right-click on it and Partition the drive. 4. If it is showing as formatted and healthy, right-click on it, choose 'change Drive Letter and Path' to assign a drive letter.
