Hi,my Sims Complete Collection won't start up
Hi,
I have had the Sims: Complete Collection for a little over a year. A couple of months ago, I would try to double click the icon, but it said there was some problem loading an "African Grass Mat." However, this is not the problem. I found out later that if I just reinserted the disc into the computer, it would start normally.
Now, the real problem happened recently. As usual I reinserted my game into the disc drive. The problem was it said that "Start.exe has experienced a problem and needs to close."
It does that every time I tried to play the game. Yesterday, I tried again, reinserting the disc. Thankfully, it worked that time and I could finally play the game and get back to my wonderful Sims.
However, I tried it today again and it does not work. The same "Start.exe has experienced a problem..." came up again and I could not play.
I have tried putting the CD in and out again and again to no avail. I have also tried double clicking the icon again for old times' sake, but the "African Grass Mat" problem window came back again.
I really want to play the game. Any help?
