Hinge Pins The hings pins for the door to the memory card compartment have disappeared. The camera won't turn on unless the door is closed. I am using duck tape to hold the door in place. I tried Fujifilm and a local camera shop. Both said would cost $160.00 and take 6 weeks. Anyone have a helpful suggestion?

Try a different store - its a common problem with this camera and larger stores might have the parts in stock it cost me $40 on the spot
The camera itself is only worth 30 dollars now but if you look under the door there is a small black square if you wedge something in there like a piece of a paperclip or whatever you can defeat the "open door" sensor
or buy another fuji finepix s3000 (like a broken one from eBay) and pull the door off that one and put it on yours
