hole in the rubber lining around the inside which is allowing water to leak out of the washer. Can this rubber lining or seal be replaced?

I bought mine off EBay for $60. A little work to replace, but can be done.
Yes it can be replaced, good luck though. we have bought a new machine because we have had two seals tear.
