Holmes HM4600 Humidifier LEAKING - - HELP
Just purchased this and is leaking water everywhere!! Placed it in a plastic tray and is still leaking around 3 to 4 cups of water. Appears to happen when it switches tanks (one drains, then the other kicks in?). Have checked for cracks, etc to no avail. Any ideas? We have to keep sopping the water out of the tray around it every 4 to 6 hours.

Well since you just purchased this item, you should be able to return it for exchange, and it should still be under warranty, but if thats not doable, then it sounds to me like its a O-ring that is bad if the tanks are removable, best bet though is to exchange it, look at your home owners paperwork, to see about the warranty, more than likely your covered, hope that helped,
