Homelite Might Lite 26ss starts up but wont run for more than 20 seconds when idling and floods out when you give it throttle. i checked the fuel filter even ran it without the filter does the same thing. checked fuel cap inlet filter ran it without cap same thing

I think with the symptoms that you are having, that you need to 1. Remove the carburetor 2. Inspect/Replace fuel filter and fuel lines 3.Disassemble and Clean the carburetor 4. Possibly install a new gasket and diaphragm kit or a complete rebuild kit.
