Homelite Torpedo Heater Model HH150A
Plug fires, fuel pumps, just before fuel gets to the burner, reset switch kicks off. Could it be the rubber coated component next to the plug, wired to the rest of the electrical connections? I've already had the relay and the reset switch checked, and they are both good.
Also, anyone know of a link where I can download the manual free for this model, so I can look at the schematics?

Don't rule out a defective relay (Safety Control) even though it's been checked. Also, you did not mention anything about testing the photocell,
Here's how. http://reddyparts.com/photocell_test_sp.htm
www.reddyparts.com part # HA3019 photocell. Keep that old-style spark plug type heater going. Just my personal opinion- I favor them over the new computerized heaters.
