Honda element 5 speed will not start sometimes. Clutch is pushed hard to floor and acts like you don't even have clutch pushed at all
A mechanic had installed a new starter and new ignition in column and has worked fine for the last 6 to 8 months and now is doing the same thing again.

I cannot remember the name of the darn thing but it is an activator switch that tells your transmission the clutch is engaged. If it is not that I would say it is your clutch itself.
