Hooking up my dryer
Do I need to light a pilot light or something before turning on my dryer because i hooked it up to the gas and turned it on and i smell nothing but gas.

There is no pilot light on your dryer it sounds like you have a gas leak somewhere. Get a cup put alot of dish soap in it and a little bit of water and apply it to your fittings in the back. If you have a gas leak it will bubble up. If this is a used dryer you may have a damaged gas valve or another internal leak.
