Horn trouble 2003 Hummer H2. Horn sounds when locking truck with alarm fob clicker. But does not work with steering wheel horn switch pad. Horn does not sound when I connect them directly to battery terminals. But why do they work when I use the alarm clicker?
That means your horn and electrical to the horn are good. You may have a bad clock spring under the steering wheel, or a bad switch. Don't forget to check the horn fuse. It may have a different circuit than the FOB.
But why does the horn not work when i take it out and directly connect them to the battery? But why does the horn not work when i take it out and directly connect them to the battery?
I was assuming it was the same horn. The theft horn is different. Check power and ground when you push horn button. Most likely you have a bad horn. I will look at schematic tomorrowI was assuming it was the same horn. The theft horn is different. Check power and ground when you push horn button. Most likely you have a bad horn.
