Hose collapses, single skimmer intake, worked before installing new pump. Pool guy says with only one pump input, no use of jandy valve is possible. Need to know if there is a Kreapy Krauly 'plate' or similar that could modulate suction through the hose

If you go a new pump and the cleaner stopped working, chances are that your automatic pool cleaner is not compatible with your pump. Your pump must be able to produce at least 25 gallons of water per minute to work with this cleaner.
