Unless the compressor ‘clutch’ on the front melted or is somehow affecting the rotation of the belt on its ‘pulley’, just leave the compressor where it is. In other words, the compressor when not engaged by the clutch, should allow the belt to ride on its pulley. Sometimes when the compressors goes bad, it melts the clutch onto the pulley. In that case, I would first try to remove the clutch to see if the pulley will work independently again.
If the a/c clutch is melted and cannot be removed, you could buy a pulley from a non-air equipped F150.....but then you’d have to buy a belt(unless that same truck also had a belt).

If the ac belt doesn't involve anything other than the ac just leave it off for now and replace it at your leisure
