The NTC, or temperature sensor, is located under the bottom of the wash tub. It is a small square black plug between the heating element terminals. In many cases the connector plug comes loose and simply needs to be reconnected.

Our Duet, believe we bought in 07, has a main motherboard located on the top front of the washer just under the top lid. It is molded plastic and had broken through all the use and shaking. When it broke is dropped about 3 inches and was suspended by other wires. Sure enough, the small plug with two black wires was unpluged. I plugged it back in. There were two open slots but the plug only fit one of them (the second port. The machine started right up. Thank you jsrock516 for getting started down the right path and making it a homeowner fix in let than 10 minutes. I am now off to super glue the motherboard back in place.
