You can remove the two screws in the top cover above the roller. Then lift off the top cover exposing the roller. You can then pull the roller out, and clean out the cradles that hold the end caps. The square end caps can also be pulled off the bearings at the ends of the rollers. I had a lot of stuff wrapped around mine creating a lot of drag, but the bearings were just fine once everything got cleaned out. Just remember which end cap is which, cause they're different for each end.
