How can I fix My Samsung 28" smart tv it is just frozen on the "smart tv" screen after powering up. I have tried holding exit - unplugging but still it is just stuck on the and won't do anything
I work fixing TVs, and am a Samsung authorized servicer. Outside of doing the best thing, which would be to take it to a repair shop, it needs a Main board. The power supply is fine or it wouldn't make any picture, and cleaning something won't fix it.
what causes this issue?? it is able to be repaired though if I take it in to a shop?what causes this issue?? it is able to be repaired though if I take it in to a shop?
The cause could be a board failure or a power surge. It is repairable, the question becomes which would be cheaper, repairing or replacing. Most repair shops charge a small bench fee and will give you a cost after putting it on a bench and verifying what failed. The cause could be a board failure or a power surge.
