This is for my friends vehicle 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser, I want to help him. Right now the car needs a battery before I can even understand what's fully the problem but going by what I'm told, this is what is happening. And the owners manual has nothing in it about the security light, i checked. First, it's factory security system, the security light flashes(so I'm told) and the fuel injectors disabled and the car cant start. Following that(The guy who is storing the car lost the alarm beeper) the alarm goes off, continuously until the battery is drained, which is why I believe the guy removed the dead battery. My friend is going to get the vin# and get another alarm beeper if he can and the man storing it is supposed to replace the battery so I can try to start it and see what happens. I was looking online but couldn't load any of the manuals for some reason. Anyone know what steps I have to take to help my friend out? Or should it just be taken to a dealership with a wheelbarrow of money? Thanks in advanced
