If your computer is running Windows and your printer has an installation disc then connect the printer and a "found new hardware" wizard should arrive on-screen. Installation is then a matter of following the prompts.
If you don't have a disc with your printer, open the printers and faxes or devices and printers section from the start menu, select add a new device and again follow the on-screen prompts. If the driver for the printer is included in the operating system it should instal.
If you don't have a disc and your printer drivers are absent from Windows, installation becomes more complex and you should ask your question again.
Go to the programs section by clicking on the windows icon there you will see printers and devices click on that and at the top you will see add a printer click on that and you will see 2 options click on the top one and follow the wizard prompts
