Not sure what you mean by reset network ? There is nothing in the printer network to reset.
Are you trying to clear data from the printer ? - if you un-plug the printer lan cable the data could get garbled and will continue to flow from the spooler. So cancel the job on the computer or spooler. - if you power off the printer, all parts including the network interface will be reset however the data will continue to flow if the job is not complete. - if you have the wrong driver configured, the data will be garbled as well.
Are you trying to get a new IP Address ? - Give it a hard ip rather than DHCP
