How can i save a scanned file as an image on my desktop? for example when i finish the scanning by pressing the scan button it appears "an unexpected error ....etc" so i cannot complete the scanning...and save my file...help please

You have to associate that button, with a storage directory, you must set up the preferences, and tell the scanner where to save the scanned file.
