Error T04-513 means: The overflow sensor is ON for a set number of times in succession. Check the ink in the drum and the sensor which is a thin wire. If there is to much ink remove some. If the sensor is bend then correct it.
How exactly would I remove some of the ink or identify the sensor? Is there a place I could get a service manual for a Riso RZ590 UI?How exactly would I remove some of the ink or identify the sensor? Is there a place I could get a service manual for a Riso RZ590 UI?
This should work on most Riso drums. Remove the ink bottle. Look into drum below the ink connector. If you press the drum turn knob you should see the ink floating between the rollers, You also should see two wires (one long and one short). The long one is to detect low ink (if it is not in contact with ink). The short one detects ink overflow (if it is in contact with ink). To remove some ink let your phantasy flow. - **** ink out with a straw (do not swallow!). Get ink with a stick bit by bit. Maybe cover the stick with a fresh kleenex every time. ...This should work on most Riso drums. Remove the ink bottle. Look into drum below the ink connector.
