How can I stop my Imate 9502 reverting back to Eastern Australian Standard Time when we have been operating on Daylight Saving time since 3 October? I keep adjusting the time, saving the settings, however when I turn on the phone it has reverted to the old time settings
I wonder if your 'Sync to current time zone' box, under 'Start > Settings > System tab > Clock & Alarms > Time tab', is unchecked... Other thoughts: check, with a Task Manager, if ActiveSync is running in the background. If so, set its schedule to sync manually. However, if no sync data are set at all, you can either set it to sync with an exchange server, like 'm.google.com' (if you have a google account, that is), or even fill in completely fake exchange server data, provided that the sync schedule is set to manual. Then, you can exit ActiveSync (or even kill its process). Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon, but, please, let me know if you need further assistance. Regards, Carlos
