How come my Chamberlain whisper drive hd600 safety sensor does not turn on the lights in the motor unit when the sensor is tripped when walking past it? It used to?
Recently erased the stored codes in the motor unit and reprogrammed all the remotes and HomeLink buttons in the cars to work with the motor unit. The sensor light used to automatically turn on the motor unit lights when you walked into the garage and tripped the sensor at the base of the garage door. This no longer happens. You also do not hear the distinctive "click" that used to accompany breaking the beam and the lights turning on. Does that mean that there is a faulty relay? Or have I accidentally disabled this feature when reprogramming the remotes and erasing the stored codes?

WITH THE LIGHTS ON PRESS AND HOLS THE LIGHT BUTTON UNTIL THE LIGHTS GO OFF AND THEN BACK ON (ABOUT 10 SEC.) THIS WILL TURN THE FEATURE BACK ON.
HOPE THIS HELPS
