Firmly grasp each side of the HEPA filter and pull up with a quick snap. It will come right off. lay new one in place and simply "pop" back on. With 30 yrs. experience dealing almost exclusively with the original Electrolux, I have a legitimate store front business and do service by mail at a reasonable cost if interested.
