How do I check the backlight inverter on my TV
I have a Samsung 32 LCD TV LN32D450G1DXZA. When I turn on the TV I have sound but no picture. With the light just right in the room you can see a faint image. Is this a bad inverter?

This looks like a defective backlight. Replacing it will not be cheap though.
