How do I clear air lock on daf 45 truck.i used hand prime pump and unscrewed bleeding bolt on the prime pump until air bubles cleared but the engine still have a hard start
Hard starting started when the truck ran out of fuel.i filled the tank and bled the system by removing the bleed screw.i later tried to tow start but still the hard starting is persisting

Bleeding the filter is good but you have to bleed at the pump while operating the primer pump
because you ran out of fuel you may have to loosen the nuts at the injectors so that the air in the injector lines is allowed to bleed out
when you get solid drips at the nuts tighten them up as it is trying to start and it will then go
