How do I dismantle a Miele S8310 vacuum cleaner?
My Miele S8310 has just stopped working. Motor won't start up although power indicator does illuminate briefly. Just out of warranty and Miele service support not cost effective. Want to disassemble to check motor and possibly replace circuit board. Have removed 5 screws but suspect there are more beneath the on/off and cord rewind buttons but not sure how to remove these without breaking them. Have struggled to find info on this model online, any help appreciated.

If the service agent states that it is not cost effective to repair then trust that advice
They will know of the difficulty to get it apart , the lack of spares when you do break it apart and the safety risk that is posed by repairs by untrained people
many wholesale cleaner shops have regular sales where the price of a new unit will be half the repair cost of an old unit
