Remanufactured ink cartridges are cheap and easily ordered online for those who wish to economize and are not into high quality printing. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. There is a fail rate, in my opinion, of about one in every five cartridges. Hence, the "not recognized" warning notice. These cartridges are so inexpensive that I recommend simply stocking up on spares; throw out the faulty ones. I've tried several chip resetters but they don't usually work.
