I can get my mower to start and engage the mower deck but when I start to cut the grass it dies. I have replaced oil filter and spark plug and put oil in it.
Sounds like the carb is dirty. if your carb has a fuel cup on the bottom of the carb remove it and clean it real well as well clean the fuel jet as well. a dirty fuel jet will not let the right amount of fuel to give it power. Make sure you have clean gas and the air filter is clean.
