Most commonly, the 3 icons at the bottom settings, home, return either aren't there or don't respond, and the other 5 icons above them are there, but don't respond. However, I can pull down the notifications and use missed call, missed text, etc. for limited navigation. When trying to text, often certain letters won't respond AND the phone will suddenly type gibberish that reappears as soon as I delete it. Sometimes just pushing a volume button or tapping the power button off and then on again will restore function, sometimes a reboot or power off is required, but that doesn't always work. Phone is about a year old and has worked well except for an ongoing Simm card full, delete some messages error, but I don't think that's related to the screen problem. I could be wrong.
