From the back of the alternator there are two wires: orange/blue and black. the orange/blue wire directly connects to a silver box labeled "Motor Craft Electronic Regulator". the black wire is melted to a black/orange and yellow wire. there is another wire (yellow/blue)wire that is connected to a plug thing. but it looks like it is part of the melted wire mass.
