How do I get into the dryer to replace the drum belt?
The drum has stopped turning but everything else works. It is also silver, not white. Had no match in the product listing. Also, are the replacement belts specific to this machine? I know most machines are made by the big 3 (GE, Maytag and Whirlpool) but does this one share a similar configuration with any others? Thank you for your time and expertise.

At the back of the dreyer you will see screws, 5 to 10 on each side, underneath the dreyer at the back, should be 3 screws, and at the top, on the back also 3 screws, remove them all, then remove the back cover, make sure the dreyer is unpluged before doing this, remove the back cover, making sure not to disconnect anny of the wires, you wilk see the belt inside the dreyer running over the drum and motor, it simply slides of, so alide the old one of, and put the new one on, and close back up.
May I suggest you type "SearsPartsDirect" into your computer search engine, and then type in the model number found on the tag somewhere on the machine.
If they list it, you should find pictures of the machine.
To get to the dryer drive belt, you have to take the whole machine apart.
God bless your efforts.
