How do i get my Marantz AVSR3053 out of protection mode?
When i switched the amp on the display came on briefly then went into protection hibernation mode. is there a do it yourself at home method or do i get some diode nerd to do it for me?

Protection mode usually means there is a problem in the amplifier circuitry. You will need to have the unit checked by an authorized tech if the unit is under warranty.
