How do i get my pool heater to come on?
Installed in 2002, only used pool heater for spa totaling about 10 hrs of use. only has status lights, but no display. Main circuit breaker reset. front panel green lights include power, tstat, aux, & press. service is red, heat is off. back of circuit board green lights on hitemp and tfuse. pv light is off. read a lot about thermistor being bad on many responses. if true, which component is the thermistor?

Open the service panel and look on the back of the board for 2 white or yellow wires that plug into it... disconnect it from the board, really wet your thumb with saliva, and touch the two connectors where you pulled the wires off of... and try to fire the heater... If it fires then you know that it is the thermistor.... I will show you a link to the thermistor on our site....
