I have found Malwarebytes and CCleaner are great free fixes. But you might have to logon in save mode to get them to work. I would also download AVG or an other virus protector.
Firstly you must have virus protection on your computer. There are plenty of free anti virus software on the internet. Avira, AVG No need to accept the extras that come with the download. Or Windows Security Essentials seem to do a good job. Run the program and find out what type of virus it is. Do some searches on the internet and find out the best way to get rid of it. Sometimes the best way is the easiest way. Maybe , just your anti virus software is enough. Free Malwarebytes is also a must to install on a windows OS. Personally I will not surf the internet if I do have anti virus software and Malwarebytes.
