How do I get the HDMI to recognize the Amazon fire stick?
My Sony RM-YD003 remote does not have an input or source button. The KDF-E42A10 projection TV has only one HDMI port. It was hooked up to DirecTV. I have switched to Hulu. My other TVs were easy to use with teh Amazon fire stick. For some reason, I cannot get the TV to work once I plug the fire sstick into the single HDMI port. I beleive I can get it to work if i can figure out how to change the input to HDMI.

When you used directv how did you get the signal? was it automatic? if so the firestick should work. Are you sure you getting power to the firestick. I have had problems in the past using the USB for Power that is on the TV. I always plug the usb power from the Firestick to an outlet instead of the USB power if available on the TV.
