How do I get the red light off the universal ge remote I purchased?
I was trying to program my Proscan tv which has been unsuccessful but the red light is still lit up. I cannot seem to get the red light off so I can try something different so am wanting to know if anyone knows how?

Just take out the batteries from it; and re-insert it after 15 minutes or so. Still the LED stays ON, the remote control is faulty. Electrohelponline
