How do I know what wire feeds from the ignition switch to the cdi as none of the colour match at both ends
Bike won't start and have ruled out most other problems but no power getting to the cdi from ignition. Wires at cdi don't match any colour leaving the ignition and was hoping not to have to strip it all apart. Please can someone help

With the ignition off ,use a multimeter set on continuity ( ohms)
place one lead on a wire at the ignition switch and the other end on a wire at the cdi when you have a circuit mark that wire and so on till you have identified all the wires
then turn on the ignition switch ans set the multimeter to volts dc and check which of those wires now has a voltage reading
