Your pilot is a spark ignition so it will start itself. You will probally need to bleed the gas line to get it to start. Do this by opening the union outside the cabinet and turn the gas on till you can smell it. Shut the gas off and tighten the union up again and let the gas clear. Then start the gas and seeif it will light at that point.
