There should be a small spindle up on top near the wheel (right hand side). Start winding the thread on by hand a few wraps to hold it in place and put the bobbin on that small spindle, making sure it is going to wind the proper way. To find out what way it will wind you can first (without the bobbin) push the spindle to the right so that it spins when the wheel turns, turn the wheel by hand for this so you can see which way it is spinning the spindle. Is it clockwise or counterclockwise? Then put your bobbin on and push it to the right so that the wheel will turn the spindle as you press the foot pedal. You should have some sort of tension clip on the top left of your machine, it looks something like the top of a big screw or may be a flat hook. Put the threat under that so that it goes directly from the spool to the bobbin, NOT through the needle. As gradually as possible wind the thread onto the bobbin but not too full, most machines will stop filling it when the bobbin is full. If yours does not, stop filling it when there is still about 1/16 th of an inch room left.
