How do I open the dashboard hvac controller on my 2007 chevy tahoe. The panel controller had iced tea spilled into it and its now dark no power to it no switches work. Radio, parking pedal adjuster and traction controller buttons all working fine. Just no power to ac controller. We think we have checked the fuses but didn't see any blown fuses. Just making sure which fuses would you check ? If no blown fuse what would be the next step?

Look at the bezel/trim around the controller. Most newer vehicles, the bezel just pops off(pry off with a flat screw driver, go around the bezel). Some have hidden screw. Look for small plastic plugs(pop them out), usually on the bottom of the bezels. Some bezels go around just the controller and radio. Some reach up around the instrument panel also. Look for screws there also. Once the bezel is off, you will see the screws to remove the controller.
