Hi, first you will need to install the software on your computer (a disk should of come with your camera to allow you to do this, if not you can go to the vivitar website and download it, then you need to attache the usb cable to your computer and the other and itno the camera (make sure the camera is turned on so the computer will see it).
The program on the accompanying CD is called "Vivitar Experience Image Manager". There is no way to transfer photos from that program directly onto your computer. The only way to use the Vivitar Experience Image Manager to allow you to put the photos into a file on your computer is to either use the e-mail feature (Hotmail or Gmail) and e-mail them to yourself, or post them on such sites as Facebook and download them to your computer from the file on that website.
