How do I remove the agitator on a speed queen washer model # aws17nw
Washer stopped working , I could not get the tub to spin at first,then I was able to get it to spin counter clockwise but it locks up when I try to spin it clockwise. Any Idea's Thanks George.

It has a large nut under the cap on the top of the agitator, but it will be the devil to remove due to a tight fit and corrosion.
